Murray Construction participates twice a year in an industry-wide Safety Stand Down, where we shut down all of our projects for 90 minutes with the purpose of safety education and training for our employees. This is an opportunity to inform, educate, and train our workers on understanding safe and unsafe conditions and behaviors to eliminate hazards, incidents, and near-misses. |
Safety Matters
Safety matters. Not merely in having manuals collecting dust on a shelf. Safety is a process that our company and each employee
work to improve each and every day. It is one of our core values. It is a way of life both inside our office and out in the field.
We are constantly working to enhance and improve our work environments. Our professional approach to quality and safety results
in a history of low incidents, educated and trained employees, and a working environment that encourages and promotes a safe
workplace 100% of the time.
Components of the Murray Construction safety process:

- First-aid and CPR training
- Weekly safety meetings attended by all employees
- Employee training on hazard communication, fall protection, material handling, and personal protective equipment
